GAME DEVELOPMENT

My Position

For Injustice 2 I was an Associate Software Engineer on the gameplay team at NetherRealm Studios (WB Games Inc). For an updated list of features I worked on, check out the Injustice 2 Legendary Edition page.

Responsibilities

  • Develop gameplay functionality in collaboration with designers

    • Implementing special moves

    • Developing character power UI

    • Scripting VFX

  • Work on game-level engine features and functions such as collision systems

  • Write clean and optimal code to company standards (both style and performance)

  • Build UI screens in Adobe Flash from wireframe prototypes

  • Program Flash screens to function in game using the Autodesk Scaleform engine

  • Refactor methods and interfaces to be more optimal without breaking existing functionality

  • Work in an Agile framework
